Massachusetts Senate Passes Energy Bill for 2 GW of Offshore Wind Power

Massachusetts Senate Bill S2372 expands on the House measure, which requires utlities to contract for 1200 MW of offshore wind power. The Senate bill requires 2000 MW of offshore wind power. Unlike the House bill, it does not limit offshore wind eligibility to only those projects completed in federal lease areas.
