Certificate of the Secretary of Environmental Affairs on the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the Cape Wind Project (EOEA #12643)

The Certificate determined that the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) adequately and properly complied with the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) and its implementing regulations. The Certificate found that the proponent had provided a complete and definitive description and analysis of the jurisdictional portions of the project and its alternatives, and contained an assessment of its potential environmental impacts and mitigation measures to enable state permitting agencies to understand the environmental consequences of their permit decisions.
