The report synthesizes existing data and identifies data gaps-- in the areas of biological and geotechnical data, existing human uses and infrastructure-- to develop an initial framework for marine spatial planning (MSP). The report includes multi-layered maps that identify zones that should be excluded from offshore wind development and zones where offshore wind development is feasible based on available data.
