Electricity Utility Retail Customer Supply Act of 2006 (House Bill #6 of 2006)

The Act mandates that Delmarva Power and Light (DPL) must conduct integrated resource planning (IRP) and issue a request for proposals (RFP) to obtain long-term contracts for the construction of new generation resources, and give preference to a project which best provides stable-priced power and long-term environmental benefits.
