Highlights: Moving in the Right Direction

The report summarizes the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean's (MARCO's) progress in implementing actions to address its five defined priority issue areas: protection of important habitats and sensitive and unique offshore areas; sustainable development of renewable energy; preparation for impacts of climate change/sea level rise; improvements in coastal water quality; and, coastal and marine spatial planning (CMSP).
