Description:
The study showed that the South Carolina transmission system could handle the addition of 80 MW of offshore wind by 2014 and 1,080 MW by 2020. The grid could not handle the additional 2,000 MW by 2030 if the 3.08 GW is distributed to the five area utilities using only two 115 KV buses.
