Deepwater Wind has prepared this Environmental Report (ER)/Construction and Operations Plan (COP) to support the environmental assessment under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), as well as the environmental analysis required as part of other federal, state, and local approvals and consultations for the project.  The project includes the development of a 30MW offshore wind farm located approximately 3 miles southeast of Block Island, Rhode Island (entirely in state waters).   It also includes the development of a 34.5 kV AC bi-directional submarine transmission cable that will run up to approximately 22 miles from Block Island to the Rhode Island mainland (within state and federal waters).
